Introduction I'm a guitar teacher based in Manhattan and Northern NJ. I travel to my students home and offer a wide variety of different instructional services for beginners and intermediate students.
I recognize the potential in each one of my students. With my customizable approach, I’ve seen my NYC area students’ self esteem and skill-set consistently rise.
Unique Methodology As an experienced and passionate guitar instructor, I believe in an approach that gives students positive and constructive ways to learn. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.
 I offer a wide variety of different instructional services for beginners and intermediate students. From the very first lesson, you will be making music while having fun practicing when you follow my methodology.
Interactive Exercises
My private and group lessons present students with the right balance of personalized attention, patience, practical training, and positive encouragement. I make learning fun through a variety of outside-the-box activities. Many students want to learn to read music and know the theory behind playing while others just want to play their favorite songs without having to learn a new language. All lessons are personalized for the student.
Digital Teaching Tools
I provide my students with all the tools they need with diagrams through video, charts, downloads, handouts and chord changing exercises. Students get to play the songs that they want to learn. Choose from over 1000 songs with printed songs sheets and PDF's. Video clips of exercises and practice sessions along with customized lesson clips will be available to students.
Experiential Learning
Learn from a teacher who has over 20 years of experience working with players of all ages. I am more of a coach than teacher, guiding students through the process of making music
Creative Visualization
Playing guitar is a great way to express yourself creativitively. Learning to strum will give you hours of enjoyment. We will focus on the things that you want to learn by connecting with the instrument.

Pricing Plans

Pay as You Go
Try a lesson for $45 to get a feel for the guitar and see what it's like to play. If you don't have a guitar you can rent one from me for $10. Your first lesson will be free if you want to upgrade to a "10 Pack" of lessons.
6 Pack
Pay for 6 lessons and each lesson will cost $40. Lessons are 1 hour and I will travel to your home.
10 Pack
Pay for 10 lessons and each lesson will cost $35. 10 Pack lessons come with 15 minutes a week of remote teaching time via Zoom.

I've been playing guitar in the NYC area for over 25 years. My musical styles range from rock to blues to jazz. As a guitar player I have performed in many ensembles doing Americana music to a Led Zeppelin tribute band to my own original Jazz Fusion group BFQ.
